Hi! I’m Leticia Hall, a Brazilian-born artist currently living in the scenic countryside of Berkshire, United Kingdom. Growing up on an island in southern Brazil, I was surrounded by art, music, and creativity from an early age. My grandmother, an accomplished oil painter, introduced me to art and taught me my first lessons. My other grandmother, a singer, brought music into my life in memorable ways—she even sang Ave Maria at my wedding! My father, a doctor with a passion for music, would often fill our home with his guitar, creating an environment rich in both visual and auditory beauty. These influences deeply shaped my understanding of art and creativity, which have been part of my life at every stage.
I pursued my interest in the arts by studying Architecture at the University of Blumenau in Brazil, where I discovered a passion for Art History. After earning my degree in Architecture and Urban Design, I took time to travel, and it was during these years that I became captivated by photography. Capturing the people, places, and moments that touched my heart helped me find new ways to express myself.
When I moved to the United Kingdom, my journey with painting began. I found myself reconnecting with childhood memories—the feel of the sea breeze, the warmth of the sand—expressing these memories through acrylic paint became a way to bridge my Brazilian roots with my life here in the UK.
Today, I live in a small village with my family and have established a painting studio where I focus on refining my techniques and developing my own artistic voice. My work is a blend of mixed media, capturing a sense of place, memory, and emotion. Thank you for visiting—I hope you enjoy exploring the paintings I have on display and for sale on this website.
